Sign Of Things To Come?

Forgetting about their dismal lose this past Wednesday, Liverpool went on to crushing the Blackburn Rovers this Easter Saturday at Anfield.
As a tribute to the 96 victims of the Hillsborough disaster, both Liverpool and the Rovers wore black armbands to pay their respects.
Liverpool’s Steven Gerrard was unable to play on account of a thigh injury, still Liverpool was strong enough to pull through without him. Just like against Chelsea last week, Torres got of to a magnificent start as he scored in his first goal in the fifth minute.
Dominating the field the likes of, Javier Mascherano, Kuyt and Fernando Torres, all had good chances at scoring in a second goal for their team, but wear unsuccessful as Robinson did terrifically to defend against the Reds trio.
The Riversiders tried hard to hang on to the game, yet to have any attempt at Liverpool’s net. El Niño took his next chance at the Rover’s net with strive and great conviction to double up Liverpool’s lead. Only the first half it was clear to anyone that Blackburn’s chances to come back into the game were all but sunk.
The second half of the game seemed to fare well for the Reds like the previous half. A stupendous strike from Daniel Agger made it 3-0 for the Reds. The home fans didn’t have to wait long after Agger’s goal, one minute left in normal time Ngog managed to head in the ball and get the Reds a fourth goal for the game.
Hopefully this is a sign of good things to come and Liverpool can carry this momentum into the Champion’s League game against Chelsea this coming Tuesday.
