The Road Towards the Ballon d'Or Begins

Well boys and girls, that time of the year has finally approached us. What am I talking about you may be wondering?
The crowning of a new King with the prestigious French award, the Ballon d’Or.
The glitzy award is given out each December to the football player who’s performed leaps and bounds from any of his peers throughout the last calendar year.
Last year the award went out to former Manchester United player Cristiano Ronaldo. Leaving Barcelona’s Lionel Messi in second place and our boy Torres in third.
So now that your up to date on last years proceedings, let me introduce to you the thirty players nominated for the French award.
