World Cup Draw, Spain In Group H

The wait is finally over as the World Cup draw has finally been done with, revealing Spain to be placed in group H alongside; Switzerland, Honduras, & Chile.

Spain goes into the World Cup as a favorite to win, topping the legendary Brazil team of most people’s lists. As impressive as that is, Spain can’t go into the tournament to overly confident in themselves.

They did that against the USA team this past summer in the Confederations Cup, and look at how that went.

No this wont be an easy breezy group for Spain – they have to face of the Swiss on June 16th in Durban which will be followed by them facing Honduras June 21st in Johannesburg and lastly Chile the 25th in Pretoria.

Still, I (amongst many) have very high hopes for Spain and our boy Torres, and feel in my bones they will pass on through to the next round.
